You should not need a chemistry degree to buy lunch

Living with a gut condition turns a quick shop into detective work. Munchable reads the label for you and tells you if a product fits the conditions you manage.

Verdicts computed on your deviceNothing about your health leaves your device

One answer, across every condition you manage

Pick the conditions you live with and Munchable weighs every ingredient against all of them at once, then reconciles the result into one verdict with the reasons under it. Conflicts included, and including bile acid malabsorption and gastroparesis, which nothing else models.

Not on file? Photograph the label

When a product is not in the catalogue yet, point the camera at the ingredients panel. Munchable reads it on the spot, with no typing, and the product is there for everyone who scans it next. If a label genuinely cannot be read, it says Can't assess rather than inventing a green light.

Eating out? Draw a box around the dish

Menu mode turns the camera on a restaurant menu. Drag a box around a dish and Munchable checks what the menu declares against your conditions. Menus rarely print full ingredients, so a clean result here is never a green light, and the app never pretends it is.

Recipes that already fit you

The recipe library only shows what suits your conditions and allergies, checked on your device. No verdicts to read and nothing to filter out: everything on the list is something you can cook tonight.

Questions, answered

Is Munchable medical advice?

No. It is a wellness tool that helps you follow the eating pattern you have chosen. It does not diagnose or treat anything and is not a substitute for your doctor or dietitian.

How does it decide?

Munchable uses a fixed rule set for each condition, applies it to the product's listed ingredients, and tells you how confident it is in the answer.

Is it an allergy tool?

It warns you about the allergies you list when the product data names them, including the label’s own "Contains" and "may contain" lines. It only ever adds a warning: no warning is not the same as free from, because we cannot see every label, recipe change or production line. Always read the physical label and follow medical advice for food allergies.

What does it cost?

Free for five scans a month across all seven conditions. Premium is £10 a month for unlimited scanning, managed here on the web.

Do you see my health data?

No. Your conditions and history stay on your device. A barcode lookup carries only the barcode, never your conditions.
