About Munchable
Munchable turns a barcode into a straight answer: good fit, caution, or avoid, for your gut, with the reasons written out underneath. It covers seven digestive conditions, and it runs a separate set of rules for each one rather than averaging them into a single score.
Who builds it
Munchable is built and operated by Sonacode Ltd, a small software company in the UK. We write the rules, maintain the database, and answer the email ourselves.
How a verdict is decided
Every verdict comes from a written rule, not from a model guessing. A product is matched to its ingredients, each ingredient is checked against the rules for the conditions you picked, and the strictest result wins. When two of your conditions disagree about the same ingredient, the app shows you the disagreement instead of quietly choosing a side. Where the evidence behind a rule is thin, the guide for that condition says so.
We maintain the product and ingredient database ourselves, so a wrong entry is ours to correct rather than something to wait on. When you scan a product we do not have yet, you can photograph the label to add it. Photos are read and then discarded, never stored. There is more on that in our licenses and attribution page.
What Munchable is not
It is not a medical device, and it does not diagnose or treat anything. It warns you about the allergies you list when the product data names them, but that warning only ever adds caution: it never tells you a product is free from an allergen, so read the physical label and follow the advice you have been given. Munchable helps you hold to an eating pattern you and your clinician already chose.

Every attempt comes back with feedback, because a score with no explanation teaches you nothing.

Rental listings go in minutes, and the people who get them are the ones who saw them first. Notifio watches the sites you care about and alerts you by desktop notification and email the moment something new is posted, so you are replying while the listing is still warm. It runs on your own Mac or Windows machine rather than as a service that logs in on your behalf, which is why the searches you monitor and the details you save never leave your computer.
PubTrivia
Live quiz nights for pubs and bars, with players joining from their own phones.
A quiz night usually means printed answer sheets, a microphone and somebody marking papers between rounds. PubTrivia replaces all three: you host from one screen, players join by scanning the code on their table, and the scores and the leaderboard update live as answers come in. There is nothing for players to install, question packs come with it, and every session stays in your history afterwards.
